Here are some great quotes that are difficult to deny. So here they are – Positive Thinking Quotes from all walks of life that you are challenged to deny (no matter what your beliefs are) – It’s difficult to find an argument against positive thinking. Do all good things begin with a positive mind?
Here’s one from the great John Lennon:
“When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.” – John Lennon
I love the thought of a 5 year old knowing that Happiness is the key to life, and not allowing anyone to take that away from them. His mother started him with a strong foundation, and obviously instilled a great amount of confidence in himself.
“Loving people live in a loving world. Hostile people live in a hostile world. But it’s the same world.” – Dr. Wayne Dyer
“To different minds, the same world is a hell and a heaven.” – Ralph Waldo Emmerson
“What we experience is our own concept of things. That is why no two people see quite the same world, and why, in many cases, different people see such different worlds. To put it another way, we make our own world by the way in which we think; for we really do live in a world of our own thoughts.” – Emmet Fox
We each perceive the world through our own outlooks and beliefs – how can the same world be so different to each of us. Thoughts can’t get more positive than those of Loving thoughts.
“A grateful mind is a great mind which eventually attracts to itself great things.” – Plato
So is it safe to say that Plato would also say the opposite for a negative mind…?
“The soul becomes dyed with the color of its thoughts.” – Marcus Aurelius
“Always aim at complete harmony of thought and word and deed. Always aim at purifying your thoughts and everything will be well.” – Gandhi
We are what we eat… than we definitely are what we think.
“It has been proven now scientifically that, an affirmative thought is hundreds of times more powerful than a negative thought.” – Michael Beckwith
I looked into this quote as deep as I could – I couldn’t find any Scientific proof that this could be true. The closest thing “Scientific” that I could find to back this up was Dr. Emoto’s Rice Experiment (will ad a link for this soon). I didn’t want to leave this quote out though. Because I still think it’s acurate, and here’s why – again if you disagree let me know in the comment section below.
Personally, I will say this I’ve tried both negative thinking and positive thinking… and I definitely feel more powerful with the positive – enough proof for me.
Here’s another – Try this: If you are feeling down, force yourself to Smile – enough said. If you’re feeling fantastic, on top of the world, force yourself to frown – doesn’t change how you feel. – again – enough proof for me.
“Act enthusiastic… and you will be enthusiastic.” Andrew Carnegie
“If you want to be happy, set a goal that commands your thoughts, liberates your energy, and inspires your hope.” – Andrew Carnegie
“People rarely succeed unless they have fun in what they are doing.” – Andrew Carnegie
Positive quotes from the Richest man of his time. And from the man that commissioned Napoleon Hill to write the book – Think and Grow Rich – one of the all time greats.
“One of the unique things about the human brain is that it can do only what it thinks it can do. The minute you say ‘my memory isn’t what it used to be’ or ‘I can’t remember a thing today.’ You are actually training your brain to live up to your diminished expectations.” – Deepak Chopra
Training your brain can go either way.
“There is no actual stress or anxiety in the world, your thoughts create these false beliefs.” – Dr. Wayne Dyer
“Suffering is an illusion.” – Buddha
The above two quotes – The quote by Buddha… when I first heard it, stuck with me, made a deep impression. In a world so wrapped with Drama… It’s a tough one to accept, but it’s a tough one to push away.
“Thought is action in rehearsal.” – Sigmund Freud
“Our life is the creation of our mind.” – Buddha
“We often become what we believe ourselves to be. If I believe I cannot do something, it makes me incapable of doing it. When I believe I can, I acquire the ability to do it, even if I didn’t have it in the beginning.” – Gandhi
“Become aware of what you are thinking and you will recognize a law between your mood and your surrounding circumstances.” – Neville Goddard
“Stop letting people who do so little for you control so much of your mind, feelings and emotions.” – Will Smith
People from all walks of life, throughout all points in time, saying similar things, and communicating similar observations that they obviously had first hand experience in.
“When someone says ‘You’ve changed’ (and mean it in a negative way)– It simply means you’ve stopped living your life their way.” – Anonymous
“Feeling is the Secret.” – Neville Goddard
“I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become.” – Carl Gustav Jung
“Use your imagination lovingly on behalf of another.” – Neville Goddard
The above quote will pay you dividends. You may think you are giving something away, but you will receive much more than you give – give it a try on someone you love, or even someone you don’t.
Try it on someone that you pass by on the street, try it on behalf of a homeless person – just try it, it’s fantastic.
“Happiness doesn’t come and go, what comes and goes is your atonement to happiness.” – Robert Holden
“A man is what he thinks about all day long”. – Ralph Waldo Emerson
“When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us”. –Helen Keller
